When I Heard You Saying That, I Felt Like Puking

Boy, have I got a lot to update! Especially on pictures. As usual, my blog is shamefully in lack of pictures. And colour. I mean, all you see is white and pink!

Anyway, remember the other day when I said I was at Taylor's Sri Hartamas? Yeah I found out that they get to return books to the library in this way:

How cool is that?!

Then there was the incident where the cab driver left the cab in a traffic queue to go ask directions from another cab driver (remember?). Here's proof!

Don't they look pretty? (:

Oh and Taylor's have like thousands of Mac computers. How awesome.
Ohmygod I just noticed the guy's butt there. -_-

Plus I realised that I am very supportive of Merah. Even my specs are red!

And I am currently addicted to this song. And the lyrics tell a lot. :)

I'm really nervous about my oral, and the sooner I get it over with, the sooner the butterflies will leave my stomach.

Pei's frog, which Mich finds really scary, because of it's big pink eyes. I find it cute. Haha.

Oh and I am pretty tanned from all the marching under the sun today, but I must remind myself not to overdo it, and that I must bring sunblock (I've always wanted a tan, see?)
I really really really need to brush up on my English. Gahh.

This Sucks.

My Adobe Photoshop must hate me. It's working, sure, but very very very very slowly.
And I still have a ton of homework waiting for me.
PLUS I have to bathe. I stink.

Oh and did I mention that yesterday, we won the winner prize for our news outline at the Taylor's Boot Camp? It wasn't that big a deal, really, for me anyway, because I felt like I didn't even contribute anything.
And the prizes we won were a Taylor's business bag (they call it a "sling bag". -____- ) and a red wristband thumb drive. The thumb drive isn't even pretty, to be honest, but I bet it'll come in handy someday.

I'm gonna have to pull an all-nighter today. Thank god I have my ipod. :)
Oh shit I forgot I have marching tomorrow after school. And also for the next three days.
I'll need all the energy I can muster.

Crunchy Crackers

Okay, so the Boot Camp day didn't start off as well as I hoped it would be. Mich, Sean and Pei arrived at my house early in the morning and we set off to Taylor's Sri Hartamas campus, only to find that we were the ONLY ones there.
And about half an hour later, we only found out that we were in the wrong campus. -___-

So, yeah. We took a cab to the Sunway Taylor's campus (which was the right one, after Sean made a very long phone call to the administrators), and on the way during a traffic light stop, in the middle of the road our cab driver got out of the cab and crossed over to another cab to ask directions to the Sunway Taylor's College. Like whatthehell. And I have the photo to prove it.

But I'll upload the photos we took when I get home, because I'm currently in the Sunway Taylor's Campus, working on their brand new, MAC COMPUTERS on an assignment-competition!!! :DDD
Oh, oh and you can check out Mich's blog, Pei's blog or Sean's blog because I think they all blogged about the same thing. :D

And and, ohmygod, I just found out that the youngest person to be a mother is Lina Medina, back in 1939, and she had a baby when she was just 5 years old.
Go look her up online. This is just unbelievable I tell you. Unbelievable.

Jess Called It My New Red Boyfriend

But I told Jess that it's a 'her'. Because she's so red and pretty. :)

Okay yes anyway, I am so tired. I spent one quarter of the morning rushing about Form3 classes distributing the class photos and the format papers, and I missed my recess meal. :(
Then I ran up and down the A block looking for the person who took the pink PnKok-farewell-notes paper and asked a favour to help me hand in the paper to Mr Tee.
Then during the second last period in class, the people sitting in front of me were taking gay pictures with a cellphone. -______-
And I didn't want to be in their picture, like sitting in the background reading my book, I shifted over to the other row, and ShuLin pulled her whole table and chair over to join me.

Then Pn Evelyn came and dragged me off to Pn Lim Yoke Keng, and they spent like 24 minutes telling me what to edit for Pn Kok's retirement booklet, and by the time I finished editing, the second dismissal bell had rung, and I was halfway upstairs when my classmates told me that my bag was already taken down for me, and I spent about 3 minutes? running around squealing for my bag, and in the end I found it in the Room. -________-

Oh and if you think that today was busy, imagine tomorrow. 8 hours being inside the Hartmas Taylor Campus- it had better be a fun day.
Reminder: Must charge phone, get new camera batteries/ bring mom's camera, bring ipod nano (maybe), STUDY.

Oh and loooook, isn't Matt Dallas so hot and sexy? :D

P/S: I will stop getting distracted.

Swim, SWIM I SAY!

I am really getting used to my ipod now, haha!
Except for the shake-to-shuffle part. Yeah, I have to shake it, like, pretty hard to shuffle the songs. Or I could press the 'next' button
And so far I've loaded like 274 songs and 3 music videos. And I am trying to load a movie, but I doubt you'll want to hear all about that. Yada yada yada.

Anyway, I just came back from my 2nd marching session (yes I am marching for Red House, and I feel so proud because I am contributing myself to my rumah) and marching is not as simple as it looks. Really and honestly, I have no idea how a troup can march in one straight line while keeping the marching tempo. Because I can't. I can't even march properly on the spot. -_____-
But I bet hope after a few more training sessions, I'll be able to march right. :)

Oh I have a lot a lot a lot of homework to finish! Crap.
I have, erm, my essay (due tomorrow), my add math (due monday), my add math workbook (due monday also) and ohshit my assignment (due monday).
And yet I'm sitting in front of the laptop blogging and downloading songs for my ipod.
Hey, I need music to concentrate, so I have a perfectly reasonable excuse to not be doing my homework right now.
Movie download, Time Left: 2 hours 13 minutes and 25 seconds.

"For Real?!"

Ohmygodohmygod you will never never never believe what my darling friends got me for my sweet sixteen! A belated birthday present, that is. :)
A LIMITED EDITION RED IPOD NANO.
And it's custom made. It has "I belong to Rachel" engraved on the back of it. So it's not just any red ipod nano. :D
I'm still- in a way- utterly shocked, because I still cannot believe that they got me that one thing I wanted so badly on my wishlist!

Everyone said that they were very disappointed with me reaction lor, because my first reaction was "*widened eyes* FOR REAL?!"
I know it's very disappointing for all you people lar, but seriously, my reaction was that only because I was shocked, and stunned, and really really surprised and psyched. And seeing the red ipod nano, took a lot of time to sink it. I think it's still sinking in.

I mean, come on, the first thing when I stepped into the EdBoard Room was Michelle handing me a newspaper-wrapped box. And it felt so light, and it was empty. So so I was disappointed you know. I got Punked, and I was looking forward to receiving the present all week, because all you people got me so excited about it lar!
And and then Sean gave me this iPhone box, and felt so much heavier than the Punked box, and for a second I thought it was the present, but then I decided quickly that it was just another Punk. And then, there was this white, tiny box tied with a white ribbon, and when I opened it there was the red ipod nano.
And and my first thought was: This is someone else's, this is some kind of joke.
But turns out it wasn't!!!
So, so yeah, I'm really sorry for the disappointed reaction, I really am. But....I just really did not expect that.

Ain't it awesome?! :DDD
i love each and every one of you who bought this for me. :))
because, you're all the BEST. :)))

Rachel Grinned

I so so so regret for not bringing my camera to the Taylor's Mass Colympics event yesterday at the Paintball Park in Bukit Jalil.
Oh, why? Because Allan Wu was there. And and, he looked so....muscular. Haha.
Sean, Pei and I went there at early morning and we got to interview him and took pictures with him and got his autograph. He's such a really really nice guy. :D
1. He went to Berkeley! In California!!!
2. He loves eliminating contestants of the Amazing Race Asia!
Sean, why aren't you blogging about the interview? Like you said you would?
Anyway, here's PROOF:

Aha, see? :)

We seemed like the only secondary school who was there for the event (even though lots signed up, I saw the list), until we met a few members from the EdBoard of SMKDU. Nice people- Christina, ZhuShaun and JieRu. :)
We even cut the event short and took public transport (namely RT, LRT, Komuter) all the way from Bukit Jalil to MidValley. Thank god Sean has a good sense of direction.
Watched this movie called Paul Blart: Mall Cop, and it was very funny, truth to be told. But it was OK.
All the pictures are with Sean and Christina, so go view them if you want to.
Gosh I've got to finish my assignment, and I have a moutain full of homework waiting for me, so, ciao! ;)
P/S: I'm stuck with that super old Nokia phone of mine, for 6 months!

Relax Rachel Relax

So I got through today, without most of my friends in school. Pretty boring, but thank god Pei came to school. Goodness knows what I would've done without my friends AND my BFF.

And I must've read about a hundred pages of The Zahir in class. With no mini cupcakes today. :(
Plus I found out how many nice fonts the EdBoard computer has. They have all the cutest fonts ever. Haha, me like.

So yeah, today was a pretty boring day. Found out that nobody ever updates their blog that frequently anymore, and read Carmen's super long post about her two closest girlfriends, watched American Idol-
Oh speaking of American Idol!
I cannot believe the judges saved Matt Jiroud! Not that I'm saying he doesn't deserve saving, he's pretty good alright. But no one, I repeat, no one can beat Adam Lambert (who has never been criticized by the judges if I'm not wrong) and Kris Allen! :D

He's so awesome. :D

And that crappadicrap Dopod of my dad's came down with a disease of faulty buttons. So I'm back to being phone-less again folks!
