My Torture

WHY WON'T CHAPTER 191 OF TSUBASA RESERVOIR CHRONICLES COME OUT?!
IS IT A PART OF THEIR LIFE TO KEEP YOU SUFFERED WHILE THEY ENJOY DRAWING THEIR COMICS?!

THIS AIN'T FAIR.

Oh My Science

I was begging Mom to bring me over to the condo to study and she actually agreed. But only for one Sunday.
Still, it's good enough for me.

I finished an entire chapter of Science and even memorised my Chinese and wrote an entry in my diary. =)
And no you can't read it. It's private.

Still, I didn't fail to deliver some pictures while studying. =)

Yeah well, it's a fake concentration for this picture.

It's just two pages from the whole chapter, mind you.

Pringles, your best study partner. =)

And er, yeah. I had some noodles after that. To wash down the Pringles.

I am STILL lacking on my studies, bless you.

Fortune Bestow Me!

I cracked 2 fortune cookies today at the D'Fortune restaurant, ate a Chicken Cordon Bleu and had a stomach ache.

Fortune Cookie #1: If you think you can, you can.

Which isn't even a fortune at ALL.

Fortune Cookie #2: Good luck will bestow upon you. You will get what you desire.

^^

We got 3 fortune cookies altogether.
My mom cracked one, and my dad didn't want his, so I cracked his.

Me: (reading my second fortune out loud)
Dad: Oh, why thank you. It's my fortune right?
Me: No, I cracked the cookie.
Dad: But its my fortune cookie.
Me: (thinking quickly) Dad, in What Happens in Vegas, who do you think hit the jackpot? The guy or the girl?
Dad: The guy lah!
Me: Why?
Dad: For starters, he put the quarter in and pulled the lever.
Me: But it's the girl's quarter!
Dad: Yeah, but the guy pulled the lever mah~
Me: Okay. So, (grinning) its YOUR fortune cookie but I cracked it, so it's MY fortune.
Dad: (smiling) Fine. Whatever you say lah.
Me: I'm GOOD.

For those who don't understand, watch What Happens In Vegas (children under 13 need parental guidance. Seriously)

NARNIA-FIED

I just watched Narnia: Prince Caspian on Sunday night.
And BOY, WAS IT AWESOME!
Although I have to admit that I prefer the first movie. The fighting part was well, brighter and more glorious in The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe.
But I don't deny that the second Narnia movie was a blast.

I'm just sad that so little Narnians are left.
Oops.
Spoiler.
(:

Prince Caspian, was, of course, HOT.
AND he has an accent too, which adds something to the hotness.
It's better than the Harry Potter movies, anyway.
MUCH MUCH MUCH BETTER.

WATCH IT PEOPLE!

A Day of Gratitude- to the Teachers

Teacher's Day.
A day where students sneak cameras and handphones (like they do almost everyday) to school to take pictures of this happy day.

And thus, for CHS, we started off with the usual performance by students in the assembly ground, although from MY view, it didn't look all that good. I blame the tree.

Continued by the drum performance by the Chinese Society. They were pretty good actually. I liked the formation of drum beats. Too bad I couldn't take a video of it. Stupid camera couldn't zoom near enough.
Melody and Agnes. They never stop studying. They make me feel like a lazy, useless girl. I DID do some colourful notes on Science and Geography though. Hah.

By having calligraphy pen marks on her fingers, Jes Cee messed up my precious bottle. But she cleaned it up in the end. Thank goodness!

Yes, well. A fairwell to Miss Lum. P/S: I don't know her.

And after the ceremony, I went to catch the van home, only to find out that i MISSED THE BLOODY VAN.
I had to walk all the way back to school with a really irritated expression on my face, borrowed Agnes's cell (I didn't bring mine. How I regretted that.) and called my mom. Mom came to pick me up at 2pm and we reached home at 2.20, and in the middle of a late lunch I saw my maths tutor walk up to the house gate, realizing that my tuition is at 2.30pm and not at 3 as how I remembered it.

The tuition ended at 4, and at 7.30 I rushed for my guitar lessons and came back learning 2 new songs. Two of which I could play pretty smoothly, and the last one a bit too hard for my to practice.
A BLOODY TIRED DAY.
PLUS, I MISSED THE VAN! HOW COULD I MISS THE VAN?!?!

I Think Too Much [Of You]

I've got to clear my head. It needs space for the contents of my examination scope.

And that reminds me, I've actually gone through the trouble of revising Science for 45 minutes!
I must say, Form 3 Science is a subject I'm rather clear at. Unlike History, which I have NO CLUE what my teacher is talking about.
And he even made an equation for Chapter 4.
Something about K squared = SP something negative something positive something...

I'm all on my own in History. Great.

My Red Heel. Ow.

I've GOT to get used to wearing those peep toes if I'm going to wear them from now on.
They're not too tight (I think. My feet isn't growing anymore, is it? >.<)

I hope not.
I don't wish to have giantess feet.

I Love You Mom ♥

Mother's Day is a very special day to all lovely ladies who've been through motherhood. Each day is celebrated with a special surprise and so on that I don't have to waste time explaining.
Yada yada.

Anyway, I started off Mother's Day by being awoken by my Dad and watching my Dad and sister prepare breakfast while I looped around the house helping my Mom to sweep the floor and vacuum the carpets. (I've taken a liking to the cute vacuum cleaner [don't ask me why] so I volunteered to vacuum the carpets a second time, which pleased Mom greatly)

And then we had breakfast, which was served 1 1/2 hours since we woke up.
Starting with strawberry cream omelet.

And ending up with dinner at Caffe 1920 in One U after watching the romance comedy What Happens In Vegas (starring Ashton Kutcher and Cameron Diaz). And although some cinemas rate is as U, I strongly suggest that children below the age of 13 go with parent supervision, because, er, you'll see.

Oh, and my mom got this free rose from some dressed-up girl in a frilly French maid costume giving away roses to whom looked like Mothers.

And this is in tribute to my sketch of some man in a comic drawing in The Star, blown away by the wind without a name or signature. There goes my one chance of getting famous. You never know if the picture is picked up by some famous animator who thinks I have serious drawing talent and who just happens to work in Pixar and hire me as an animator and I'll become the youngest animator alive. :(

No More Nuthin'

Finally.
I've finished my Geography project and am free to celebrate Mother's Day without any hesitation.

Life rocks right now.
Plus I've also watched 2 Disney movies while doing my project.
I call it multi-tasking.

So much to those teachers who think no one can complete anything while doing two things at once.
Hah.

I was thinking about it
And I decided that
Part of my distraction
Came from thinking about you.

Look Ahead, Pay Attention

I can't concentrate on my Geography project that is due to be passed up on the upcoming Monday.

Possible distractions are:

1. New haircut (it's so short, I can cry out loud)
2. Music
3. Plans to surprise Mom on Mother's Day
4. Exams are coming and I haven't properly gone through my revisions yet
5. I'm spending 1 1/2 hour in Art Class painting a portrait of a baby boy blowing his
first birthday candle.
6. I think too much
7. I keep wanting to watch Disney movies
8. *Sigh*

According to Wikipedia

I think I'm suffering from Amnesia. I think I really am.
I get these blogging inspirations from school and when I reach home I completely forgot what I wanted to share.
Darnit.

Amnesia (from Greek Ἀμνησία) is a condition in which memory is disturbed. The causes of amnesia are organic or functional. In simple terms it is the loss of memory. Organic causes include damage to the brain, through trauma or disease, or use of certain (generally sedative) drugs. Functional causes are psychological factors, such as defense mechanisms. Hysterical post-traumatic amnesia is an example of this. Amnesia may also be spontaneous, in the case of transient global amnesia. This global type of amnesia is more common in middle-aged to elderly people, particularly males, and usually lasts less than 24 hours.

Argh. I'm aging early. I don't see white strands of hair on my head though. Whatever.

Another effect of amnesia is the inability to imagine the future. A recent study published online in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences shows that amnesiacs with damaged hippocampus cannot imagine the future. This is because when a normal human being imagines the future, they use their past experiences to construct a possible scenario. For example, a person who would try to imagine what would happen at a party that would occur in the near future would use their past experience at parties to help construct the event in the future.

Oh. I can DEFINITELY imagine my future. I even think of the impossibilities.
I think my forgetfulness may have been a disease from SOMEBODY, or perhaps just school pressure and most importantly, PMR stress.
For God's sake, I even have a daily schedule to keep me studying, walking my dog, talking to my rabbit (I don't want him to die of loneliness) practicing my guitar and exercising DAILY.
I even managed to fit "practicing guitar" twice on Saturday!

No, its not amnesia.
I think I may have just gone nuts.

I was confused.
But now I'm back up on my feet.
I realized I should've never doubted.
I still love you.

Quotes Loyalty

Confucius once said: "To all you serve, be loyal." Loyalty is a fundamental part of the Chinese disposition and historically this is something that Chinese pride themselves in.

I am proud. I will be loyal.
Despite the fact that I helped 3A2 gather newspapers for THEIR class and none at all for mine. Oops. But that was before they announced "Loyalty" as our school theme, I think.

Brain Jam

I really wonder sometimes if they're trying to stress us to death.
As if PMR is not an enough threat.
And what with my weak subjects appearing in the shape of Math, History and Geography, I definitely need more time to study.

And I still want to read Can You Keep A Secret by Sophie Kinsella.
Great.
Let's hope they don't mean it when they complain about wanting to be back in Form 3 once they go up to Form 4.

I mean, how hard can Biology, Chemistry and Physics be?
I don't want to think about it.

Go Away

To: XXX

Your hair looks like a wig and your nose looks like someone squashed it.
Your face looks like someone puked on it, but oh wait! Someone already DID.

Damn you're just a bitch.

Scream of the Students

Sports Day wasn't an extreme bore to me as it was to some people.
In fact, I'm glad that the school makes it compulsory to us students to attend this particular day.

Anyhow, the results of the friendly competition came in as:
1. Yellow
2. Purple
3. RED
4. Green
5. Blue

In which I am VERY proud of Red, because this shows out big improvement from last to 3rd.
And the camwhoring sessions were fun. I just wished I could've taken more pictures and eaten more pancakes.

Of all the people marching today out on the field,
I didn't see you,
Hmm,
Where are you?
