I Am Such An Idiot

I just came back from guitar class.
And I went to Popular Book Store for a browse just now.

And you wouldn't believe what I saw!!
LIPSTICK JUNGLE.
SELLING FOR RM13.90. ONLY!

They actually have two versions, the yellow-orangy one and the green one.
The green version is the larger size of the two, and it's selling for Rm13.90.
Whereas the yellow-orangy one is selling for RM32.90.

See the big difference?!
SEE IT?

And do you KNOW what is the WORSE thing that happened to me?!
(No, they weren't out of stock, if that's what you were thinking.)
I didn't bring any money with me.
I DIDN'T BRING A SINGLE CENT AT ALL.
(Except for the 5 bucks where Mom gave me to buy gummy worms. *smile*)
And they only have ONE green version book left. What if it's all gone by the time I come back next week to buy it?!
I am such an idiot. Who doesn't bring their money out with them?!

I Cried

Today can't possibly get any worse.
For starters, I think I flunked my Geo exam paper.
I really think I did, because there was a lot of questions which I was unsure of the answers.

And THEN, I received bad news about my chinese essay.
Like, REAL bad.

Oh great. I have to go off for my guitar lesson soon.
I don't even feel like playing the guitar today.
Actually, I don't even feel like doing anything today.

I'll just lie down and wait for Death to claim me.

Eating Geo Off My Skin

There are flying ants all around my study table.
FLYING ANTS.

And they make me feel so ticklish!
Eww.
I mean, they just BUZZ around, and I find that really annoying.
I'd rather bees.

Italian Spices

Here is a VERY SPECIAL shoutout to my one and only beloved DADDY:

HAPPY XX BIRTHDAY!! ♥♥

So for the special day (which also happens to be the start of my school's trial exam. Ugh.), we went to Marco's Pizza for a late dinner (because there was a traffic jam due to the rain and dad was home late blah blah blah).

And my parents wore the shirts mom bought from Taipei.

Look! Isn't it cute?

And then we had spaghetti and some pizza which I can't remember the names, and I ordered PASSION FRUIT Italian Soda. (Oh, PeiShe!) And it.was.good. :)

See? SEE?

And then we went home.
And later, probably at about 11pm, we'll sing the birthday song and blow the birthday cake.
*burp*

Make A Twirl And Get A Gold

I love the rain.
Only because it cools down the environment, and it makes a really nice study partner, AND it also drowns my mother's piano-playing downstairs (I can still hear her with the doors closed and the stereo blaring).

But then, I hate the rain.
Because it causes traffic jams and we got so stuck in the jam that mom had to turn back in order to fetch my sister in time for her Science tuition.
At least my teacher agreed for a replacement next week.

And then, my haircut.
I was supposed to get a haircut today but the rain caused the traffic jam that caused me to turn back so I wasn't able to go to my haircut after my guitar class.
But anyway, there's this salon near my house that I've never been to but I think it's quite good so I'm going there tomorrow to give it a try.
And hopefully, they cut my hair EXACTLY the way I want it.
Not too short, or too flat or anything.

P/S: The Russian synchronized swimming team was BRILLIANT. :D

Make A Leap

Alright, so I finally got the timetable to the PMR trials.
And guess what?

Science is in September, AFTER Merdeka Day.
And I've been cramming Science into my brain, when I should be focusing on Geography, since Geography is due NEXT FRIDAY and I haven't started a thing on Geo yet.

So, I've finally set up a study schedule (yay me!).
I doubt I'll go along with it, but as long as it takes to make me feel better, I'm fine with it. :)

I hear my mom screaming downstairs (again) in front of the TV.
She gets TOO caught up in the Olympic Games.
And of course, she supports China! :)

And that reminds me, Rhythmic Gymnastics is on tonight, Women Qualifications only.
But whatever it takes to watch their ribbon twirling.
And I've got to go now.
Toodles.

Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious

It's a word from Mary Poppins.
Don't tell me you've never watched that before, because it's famous.
Or so I think it is.

Mind you, it's pronounced super-kelly-frae-gee-lee-stick-ex-pee-alley-doe-xious.

I remember wanting to blog about something. Wait. *thinks*
Ah yes, SCIENCE.
I'm all about Science these few days (which is a signal of how dead I am since I haven't even touched other subjects for the trials, exceptionally Math), which totally sucks, because the more I'm studying it, the more boring it becomes.
I obviously need a break.

And then there's Math (again).
Would you believe I'm having my math tuition tomorrow at 9am?!
Seriously, I have NO IDEA what made me agree to such a early time in the holidays for TUITION.
I think I'm mad.

Oh, I forgot about the Olympics. :D
The syncronised swimming is NICE NICE NICE.
Spain's one was exceptionally good!
But they got 2nd place. Even China got 3rd.
I didn't watch all of it so I have no idea who got first.

I feel like Eloise at the Plaza.
Except that I don't ever think about how would it be to pour a pitcher of water down the mail box. And even if I did, my mom would slaughter me. :)

P/S: Malaysia was ranked 56 in the Olympics out of 204 countries. We thank Lee Chong Wei.

A Hard Hit.

Well, Lee Chong Wei lost in the badminton finals to Lin Dan.

I mean, first I was screaming my lungs out, and then I thought about how disappointed Chong Wei must be, so I'd like to post a shout-out to him, telling him even though he lost, we're still VERY proud of him, because he was the first Malaysian to have qualified for the badminton finals.

And at least we got a silver. =)
So, all the same, we're all very very proud of you. You fought well.

Ouch, my throat hurts from screaming like a mad lady.

P/S: I cannot believe this: the Malaysian flag was raised lower than the China bronze medalist flag! Hello? All the same, we DID win China for the bronze medal! *sulks*

What To Blog?

I feel so incredibly stupid.
I can never remember what I want to blog about, so I wrote my list of blogging-abouts on a piece of paper. And then I lost the paper, so I didn't blog about anything.

And now, I found my paper, so here I am to blog about it. *stupid*

Right. I remember now- the other day I was watching Judo and Wrestling on the Astro Olympics Channel.
JUDO and WRESTLING.
And I find it very funny. I mean, those contestants were grabbing each other shirt's collars, and then grabbing each others legs, and then pounding on top of each other (I will not go into detail about that).
It looked like they were trying to tear each other's shirts off.

*looks at blogging-abouts paper*
Ah yes, another thing- my Gerak Kempur math paper.
I forgot to bring my ruler into the examination classroom.
And in the end, I found out I forgot to bring my ruler to school, which is probably when I searched my pencilbox for the usual examination things to bring into the classroom, I missed my ruler.

P/S: I feel like punching someone right now. Pei, you should know who I mean.

A Shower Of Good News

1. I passed my Editorial Board Arts and Graphics Department Probationer Test, so I am officially a probationer. <3 onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_g3szYA0cJH8/SKWV1Kzh-QI/AAAAAAAAAfY/oJedzIlJ2Y0/s1600-h/wall+e+rubik.jpg">
5. Thanks to the influence of Mel, Agnes, YuenXin and Pei, I am officially a study freak.
Mel- because I see her studying every morning in the canteen.
Agnes- because I see her studying every recess.
Pei- because she finished studying Science in 2 days.
YuenXin- because she made me do a lot of Math.
12 days to doom.
Someone please stab me with a knife.

Trig = Tangent, Sine & Cosine

I think I did horribly for my Science paper, considering how EASY paper one and two was compared to our school papers.

I mean, I wrote a horse having an EXOSKELETON. And I thought endoskeletons were body fluids. And I mixed up the alveolus and the bronchioles. Mind you, that was a careless mistake; I wasn't looking at the labels carefully.
I super suck in Science.

Okay, screw bloody Science, since it's already over and I can do nothing about it; and onto Math.
Ah, Math.
This is a subject I have full confidence in, and can guarantee I can score at least a 75 for A (I'll just ignore my tuition teacher's voice in my head that keeps reminding me she wants me to score at least 90)
I've been doing loads of exercises, and I've got a stable hang of Trig.

Umm,
tan = opp/adj
sin = opp/hyp
cos = adj/hyp

Err,
tan 45 = 1
sin 30 = 1/2
cos 60 = 1/2

Anyway, it wasn't all that hard as I've always assumed it was.
I fear Algebra more than I fear Trig. I have no idea why people find Algebra easy.
It give me headaches, especially fractions.
I super suck in Math.

Is there anything I can not suck in?

Eh, apa itu? =)

I'm so sick of studying Science.
Really.

I've only been studying for 3 hours for tomorrow's Gerak Kempur and I'm already tired.
It's just Gerak Kempur, mind you.

Imagine the trials.
Or PMR.

I'm running out of things to blog about. Bleh.
=(

Starts 27th August.
15 days to doom.
15 days to Dad's birthday.

History.

We had the Bulan Penghayatan Merdeka celebration in school today, and it was LONG.
It took up all 4 periods before recess (which is good, because I wasn't looking forward to Science anyway) and it wasn't all THAT good.

There was this drama that was really boring, since none of the students could hear anything the performers were saying, and it was all about some history thingy.
Hello? History?

But there was this other drama about some Indian boy and a Chinese girl falling in love or something like that. That was nice. And funny, since there was this form 6 guy who tied the top of his hair into two stumps.

And then there was the traditional dressing competition, and I honestly thought that half of the teams' performance were retarded. (No offence, but really. You all did your best anyway)
It was a bit disappointing that A2 didn't win, because I thought that JesCee and Carmen's costumes were very original, and nice! Haha.

Aiyah nevermind.

Oh, and Malaysia lost to Italy during the Archery Quarterfinals in the Olympics.
We lost by 5 points. 5.

Pffftttt, Carmen.

Hi Carmen, thank you for tackling me outside of your class today.
I almost fell off the building.

=)

Love,
Rachel.

When You Look Me In The Eyes

I am definitely NOT a fan of Windows Live Messenger right now, because it wouldn't sign me in.
And as nice as MEEBO is to use, i don't want to use it because I prefer Windows Live Messenger.

Plus, NO ONE seems to be online tonight, which is NOT FUN at all.
Or else they are, and everyone just seems to be busying themselves with something.
What's the fun of signing on to a chat messenger when all you see are your contacts' status being put to "Busy" or "Away".

AND, the ONLY movie download I have on my laptop is What Happens In Vegas, and I've watched that show a HUNDRED times so I don't feel like watching it for now.
I COULD watch Hancock, but after watching the pirated DVD of Get Smart that my dad bought back, I have a feeling that Hancock is going to be as equally blur.

I've got no pictures to upload, and even if I do, blogger would be too slow to load it onto my blog.
So I guess I'll just skip the loading part.
Bleh.
Saturday nights are SUCH a bore.
And no, I don't feel like studying. Yet.

I Miss You

I am really pissed off with the internet connection, especially at night when it takes more than 20 minutes to load a bloody webpage.
And so which means I cannot blog, cannot watch Ugly Betty, cannot log on to Facebook or even my Gmail.

Well at least it's much better in the afternoon.

Here's another sad thing: my mom confiscated my phone, for dunno-how-long, but I have an idea that she's going to hold on to my phone until, say, end of PMR? ><

Arrgh, bummer.
But on the other hand, I'm really really happy. =)
