Elephant And Castle

Our school celebrity of the week: this really sweet and petite-looking Japanese girl who's visiting our school for 5 days. :D
And she's really caused the bombshell to go off in our school, especially the FormFours.
4S2 has currently hit the top charts for Most Visited Class Of The Year I tell you; there're boys crowding around the class just to get a glimpse of her.

But really, she's such a nice and sweet thing! I think she has this really cool Japanese accent, oh and her pink Nike sport shoes are really something. :D
Haha.
It's such a pity she's not in my class, and I hope she's not freaked out by all the sudden attention given to her on her first day in a Malaysian high school.

I really regret giving up on learning Japanese, because who knew that speaking Japanese might come in handy one day!
Oh if there was one sentence I would tell our newcomer, I'd tell her: Welcome to our school! Please don't be frightened by all the crazy boys you see, because usually, they're not that crazy!
Or something of that lame note. =.=

Other than that, today was a pretty boring and humid day.

Duhh.

Hello!
Report Card Day was fun. I went class-hopping, had a bearded picture of me drawn onto the back of my hand by Pei, and ran up and down the school.
I had a feeling I was talking and laughing very loudly in class, but my form teacher told my mom that I was very quiet in class.
I mean, I guess I'm quiet during her class, but I think I'm usually pretty noisy in class loh. Not that anyone gives a damn about it. Why should they anyway?

Moving on, I just read JingHui's blog, and there's this picture where she took during Bio that has my big fat leg innit. I think that my arms and legs don't go together, because I have like these skinny sticks for arms, and big clumps of meat for legs. :/

OH and as for today: HAPPY SWEET SIXTEEN MICHELLE ANNE LEONG, who's like the prettiest european+asian girl I've seen, ever. She has these really big pretty eyes that I envy so much loh. :)
And, and she got this guinea pig for her birthday present, which we named Kimora (you know, after Kimora Lee Simmons), but then after that ChenLynn wanted Gracie, so now it's erm, Gracemora. X)
Oh yes so we were playing with Gracemora in the EdBoardRoom, and she pooped quite a lot. And I had to clean up all the poop you know. Yes, that's right; I'm Rachel, the Poop Cleaner. =.=

OMG. My pendrive isn't working! IT WON'T BLOODY OPEN.
AAAAAH!

Cuttlefish

I feel so super awesome today.
I feel totally enthusiastic about life today loh.
And this, my friends, was proven when I was giving this, erm, speech about how we must embrace life and all its goodness during Bio today. HAHA.

Jing Hui and I went totally high on the highness scale when we were doing that experiment where we had to burn a peanut and this ikan bilis, and we both felt so sorry for the poor dead headless ikan bilis.
OH OH, and that was when I gave another speech about how the poor fish (it IS a fish, right?) was born, and then it was killed, and then it was burnt. =.=
But I bet you that you would give the exact same speech when you saw the how the boys in my class were burning all those corpses of the ikan bilis into ashes.
AND then they started singing Fire Burning while doing so. X)

I think I rate my highness on my highness scale a 10/10 for me, for I have never been this crazy before. :)
Which is a good thing, right? I mean, how could it be a bad thing?

p/s: I think I should remove my chatbox, again. No one ever posts any comments on it anyway, so I really don't see the whole point of having it there.

Sugar, Spice and Everything Nice

I just realized that I haven't done a birthday shoutout post for about a gazillion years. =.=

So here's one to ShuLin, the darling who sits beside me in class and which I think we'll probably sit next to each other for the next year as well! :) :
HAPPY SWEET SIXTEEN! :D

I really do hope you like/love your present, and use it well (I know you will one lah).
I forgot to take a picture of the purse to blog it, so mind that you do and post it on Facebook to let the whole world see!
Because the purse is just so...YOU. So SHULIN.

So yes, enjoy your birthday!
XOXO.

Random-ia

Went to Mich's Sweet 16th Birthday Lunch at Italiannies today at The Gardens. :)
The food there was so delicious, and I felt so full.
There were like, pastas and pizzas and this chicken parmagiana, and iced water and this huge white chocolate macadamia nuts birthday cake. :)
In fact, I still feel kind of full, so full that I even skipped tea. :)
So Michelle, thank you for the awesome awesome lunch, and await your awesome awesome birthday present. :D

I actually forgot to bring my camera there, so all camwhore pictures belong in Pei's camera, Shu's camera and Chong Sheng's DSLR. Oh and Carmen's camera too I think. :)
They'll all post it on Facebook one la. I'll post the Facebook link once they post it. :)
I feel so happy! Which I guess will explain the so many smileys on this blog post.
And and, I also feel very random. :P
I wonder if Chong Sheng posted the pictures on his blog already?
OMG I just remembered this very stupid shot of me that Carmen took, and OMG she didn't delete from her camera, and OMG she had better not post that picture on her blog.
You hear me, Carmen Chua?

I feel kind of dizzy. I think it's the stuffy air in Mid Valley. I didn't feel like this while I was in The Gardens loh. The Gardens' air very clean and fresh and chilly and cooling one.
Oh yes btw, after The Gardens we went to Mid Valley ma right? So then we went to TopShop, and we went to try on these really fabulous outfits. The outcome was really funny for Shu, Pei and me (HAHA. Don't even bother asking why, because I'll never tell, because if I do I'll be slaughtered). Anyway, I looked really nice in these 2 dresses, but they cost about 200 bucks each, so yeah. :(
I think Shu took a picture of me and her in this Greek Goddess-like outfit. So nice you know?
Oh, I finished all my Sour + sweets already. :(

Oliver Twist, Charles Dickens

Guess what? :D
Okay wait, don't guess.
I won't tell you anything anyway. *beams*

Oh yes yes, I tell you ah- OHMYGOD.
The other day I was transferring music from the laptop to my pendrive, when I accidentally deleted all of my songs. That's right, all...600 of them I think (yes I know it may count as really little songs for some of you, but still)?
And now I have to re-download them from scratch! :(
This really sucks LOH.
I spent months and months downloading all those songs. You know?

Utterpants.

Ouuuuuch. My legs aches all over!
I don't even know why.
I didn't do any running today, I didn't stand up for 2 hours straight, so I wonder why my muscles hurt.

Oh argh I have my Chinese journal to complete.
I wonder what I should write about-
Oh! I could write about The Great Mouse Incident!
Hah!

Wicked.

I was sick of the Civic project, but now, I am sicker of it.
First of, Civic project consists of looking up on the history of the Malaysian state flags and coat of arms- what a stupid thing.
Secondly, they don't just provide such information online. Who would want to post anything about the history of our state flags on the internet?! Who would even bother to?
Thirdly, talk about unfairness in my Civic project. This is why I try to avoid group work as much as possible. I would love to rant all about it, but I shall not. Ranting about it won't change anything, since I only have 2 days left until I have to hand the bloody project in.

So this is all I will say: URRRRRGH.,

YOU HAVE TO READ THIS: I Am Not Kidding You

Ohmygosh, I cannot believe what just happened! What happened was what I shall now name The Great Mouse Incident, so you can obviously assume that it has something to do with a mouse. And you are correct!

Well, it started when Mum came home, and we were talking in the living room, when I noticed my dog scratching and barking at a bonzai plant. She was digging the bottom of the bonzai pot and she kept putting her nose under there to sniff- you know, the way dogs do when they find something curious and/or exciting.

And so Mum and I went out to check, and at first we thought it was a snake (because the other day we found a snake in the garden, long story). But then this little brown furry thing scuffled out, and it was this GIANT MOUSE. It was kind of cute actually.
And then the GIANT MOUSE ran over to the shoe rack, and my dog followed, barking and sniffling away like mad. And then- it ran into the house (the bloody door was open).

Mum and I ran back into the house, and we set up a trap for the GIANT MOUSE in the living room, and I brought out a mop (yes, a mop. It was the first utility I spotted when I went to the back to look for a stick) to defend Mum and I (mum was freaked out by the GIANT MOUSE). So yeah, I found it lurking around this someplace and I prodded the surroundings of the GIANT MOUSE with the mop, until it ran back out into the garden.

Right, so back to the garden: my dog (again) barked and chased the GIANT MOUSE everywhere, and the GIANT MOUSE climbed onto the top of this ponzhai plant (yes, it can actually climb), and my dog was jumping and barking at it and I brought this umbrella out to whack it down, but then I didn't. Because right then, I said:
Mum, look, it's so cute!
=.=
So Mum bravely took out the mop and I-dunno-how, she whacked it down and it ran across the garden and my dog chased and then my dog bit the GIANT MOUSE and it died.
But no blood was splattered on the thereshold of the ground so I don't know how it died. Maybe a heart-attack?
So there you go: The Great Mouse Incident.
(I know, right?)

Abilities and Choices

Oh! What a weekend I tell you! I am exhausted. But in a good way. :)

Went to the Bon Odori festival on Saturday in a stadium filled with about a gazillion sweaty people, sushi stalls and sand dust.
We did just about what everyone else did during Bon Odori. Ate sushi (was really really full), danced to the Japanese traditional music (accompanied by drum beating, really cool), bought a 5 buck balloon that me and Carmen thought was filled with helium (the helium ones were long sold out!) and got lost on the way back to the school bus.
Will upload the pictures onto my blog. Someday.

Next, I went to watch HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE on Sunday.
Aha! I am so pleased and satisfied with this movie. It is SO MUCH BETTER than the 4th and 5th Harry Potter movie, and I shall now give my full review on the movie:

I rate it an 8/10, with the rest of the 2 points with room for improvement. Movie watchers should bear in mind and consider the fact that the film crew squeezed a 600 page novel into a 2 hour and 40 minutes movie (which is obviously not easy to do), so I guess detailed details can be spared.
And I think that this movie (and all Harry Potter movies actually, except the first and second movie) are more for Harry Potter fans who actually know what the story plot is about, because if not I think the movie will be quite a confusing lump of battles, darkness and romance (oooh!). So, I recommend you to umm, read the book before watching the movie; but after reading the book don't judge the whole movie fully-based on the book lah. If you know what I mean. :)

Well, this is all coming from a Harry Potter fan (ME!), so everybody's point of view for the movie would obviously be different.
Anyway, just...GO WATCH IT. :D

ACHOO.

I think my fever, sneezing fit, runny nose and sorethroat might be getting better already! :)

And since I have nothing to blog, AGAIN, I shall just refer this post to erm, random facts:

1. I have always named my plushies and toys, and I always find it hard to give them away. That's why they always say not to name things if you don't want to get too attached to it!

2. Everbody pronounces it as "running nose", but it's really "runny nose".

3. I want to go to the same university as Emma Watson in the US. :)

4. I'm nervous about not knowing which college to go to after SPM.

5. I know almost all the lines from the Harry Potter novels (I'm a devoted fan!). :)

6. The one vacation place/study place I've always wanted to go would be England. God Save The Queen!

7. I actually have a really low self-esteem, even though I try not to show it.

8. I've dropped my Nokia phone countless of times and it still works!

9. Porochial is actually pronounced "poh-roh-kuh-eeal" and not "poh-roh-shuh-eal" as I thought.

10. They cancelled the Avatar: The Legend Of Aang on Nickelodeon! :(

I think that's enough for one day. Now I shall wait patiently as my weirdness sinks into your brain. :)

The Parochial Beadle

Again, I'm here and I forgot what I was supposed to blog about. :/
Ah well, never mind that.

So yes, anyway, after like 3 months of talking and persuasion, Dad has finally allowed me to get my Canon Ixus. And all this while, I thought he knew that I was going to save up my own money to get that camera but instead, he thought I was begging him to buy it for me.
Hah! I am an independent young lady, and I can buy anything I want by using my own money (although I'm constantly broke).
Well, except for that nice yellow dress I saw at Shopaholics Unite!. *grins*

Oh, Who Am I Kidding?

Do you know the feeling, when you listen to this song, and the melody/lyrics of the song makes you analyse about life/current issue/affairs and think a lot about, well, just about everything?
If you don't then, well, I have no idea what to say.
But if you do, then I have to tell you that No Surprise by Daughtry is one of the songs that gives me that exact feeling.

And I shall not post the whole lyrics of the song on my blog, because I don't really see the point of doing so. If you want the lyrics you can just Google Search them right? :)
And if you want the song, there's always Limewire or Youtube.

Eeks! Just checked my email, and ALL of them are chain mails and mails from Facebook applications. I tell you, one day I shall receive a decent email from like a long lost friend or someone, and the contents of the email won't be the kind that tells me how MSN is closing down or KFC chickens are poisonous; but a real decent email from someone asking 'Hey, how are you?' and greetings of that sort.

Hmm, something's wrong with my Windows Media Player, and I finally logged in to Restaurant City! Whee! :D

Sometimes, Words Are Just Not Enough

I don't even know how to explain the event, or rather, this thing that happened in school today.
I don't even bother explaining it to anyone nowadays anyway.
Ah well. :)

Ooh yes, I have this habit of scribbling reminders onto the back of my left hand with a pen (a Pilot gel pen to be exact, but who really gives a damn about the details anyway?). And I really really have to stop doing that, because every time I scrub those reminders off, I get the feeling that I'm scrubbing my skin off too.
So, I vow to stop writing on the back of my hand before all my skin comes out and I am left with nothing but muscles, veins and arteries and bones. Yuck.

I Guess Second Best, Is All I Will Know

B'gah!
For once I have no idea what to blog about. :S
My original idea was to blog about yesterday (you know, Pn LYK's retirement) and to rant about it (because of you-know-why) but then I gave up. I mean, seriously, whatever lah.

You know, I feel like I haven't been connecting much with my friends. I get all these swelled up feelings in my chest that I just have to blow it up in someone's face (which I usually do), but then, nowadays I just...don't anymore.
I don't know why.
I guess it's just because I have this fear that people might judge me, or think the worse/worst about certain situations, or raise their eyebrows or laugh at me.
And the thing is, all these things have happened, all the time, last time, when I blurted whatever I felt like blurting.
But, I guess it's just not the same anymore. I prefer to tell it/something to someone when I feel like it's the right time for them to digest the information that I am going to tell them, and I do it with a lot of hesitation and awkwardness.

They say a lot about teenagers' hormones changing, and they are so right.

Look Up, Look Down

Today was the Second PhotoShoot Session of the year.
And it was, tiring but at the same time awesome.
Chen Lynn proved to be such a good organizer I tell you. If I had about like one week plus left to organize a whole second photoshoot, I think I'd be in the drain before you could even say 'Harry Potter!'.

So, in conclusion: Today I had a retarded candid shot taken of me by the photographer who clicked his camera before he finished counting, sat down on the ground and had my pinafore dirtied, was told by WenMin that there were worms somewhere underneath the bricks in the tapak, ran like a lunatic all the way across the tapak and was annoyed by a slight problem that occured during the photoshoot that no one took notice of (because it wasn't even relevant anyway).

I am totally and utterly exhausted.

Moderation Moderating

All I wanted was to start over from a nice clean slate, but I guess that's not ever going to be possible now, is it?

My fingers aches. I've been scaling down photos since 3 hours ago. And I'm still not done yet.
3 more photos, one more page to go.
Seriously, sometimes life just sucks.

Four, Three, Two, One

The laptop's being a total bitch right now.
All the programmes are working very slowly.
And this is the exact moment where I need the laptop to be as efficient as possible because I have a BigAssignment to do.
Deadline: Monday.

Going to Cheer 2009 tomorrow so I won't be home for perhaps the entire day and thus I need to finish my BigAssignment tonight.
Erm, let's see what else?
Still addicted to Facebook, slowly ditching Twitter because most of the people I know don't even HAVE a Twitter, haven't written in my diary for ages, oh and I get this feeling that one of my friends' is mad at me.
Maybe I'm just being overly-sensitive.
I have no idea.
