Fumble Jumble

Barack Obama is following me on Twitter!
Well, actually, BO is following almost everybody who follows him on Twitter.
But how cool is that??
Huh huh huh? :D

Oh and I watched the Hannah Montana The Movie trailer, and it's actually pretty nice!
Now I want to watch it. Haha.
Okay, so I've got 8 hours left on the laptop to come up with designs before I run off the my guitar class and go to Melaka tomorrow.

Plus I have to memorise 23 moral values for Moral Exam, do a little bit of Add Math practice exercises, find time to go to everyone's blogs to see what they're up to, check my email, watch a movie, eat lunch, eat tea, eat dinner, sleep, chew more gum, go Facebooking, Twittering, play UNO...
*and you leave the blog before Rachel goes overboard with her list*

SnickerDoodle

Let's see...how did my one week holiday go?
Not bad I guess.

#1. My cousin and her daughter stayed over for about a week I think.

#2. I had to entertain them all the while I was at home.

#3. I play seesaws and slides and skipping and swings.

#4. I went to the MPH Warehouse Sale and bought some books.

#5. I met my old primary school teacher at the MPH Warehouse Sale.

#6. I ran and fell and bruised both my knees.

#7. My knees look SO horrible and yet I can still bear to wear shorts out into public.

#8. I bought a pair of black heels.

#9. I want another dress.

#10. I tasted red wine and it was AWFUL.

#11. I took some pictures!

#12. Am still missing Granny.

A Fun-eral

You know, the funny thing is, my grandma's funeral wasn't really a funeral. I mean, yeah sure, there was the crying and the emotional part where everyone was hugging each other and sobbing and sneezing; but there was also the part where everyone was talking and laughing and remembering the good ol' times. :)
So which is why I named my post a fun-eral, not a fu-neral.

And anyway, I took a lot of pictures, and well, you can guess why I posted this post. And there are a LOT of pictures, so you'll understand if I don't write the captions.

I went to the parlour on Tuesday after school, skipped school on Wed to attend the funeral, went for dinner with my relatives on Thursday before they went back to Singapore.

Tuesday afternoon- night

Wednesday- Skip School Day

And after the funeral, we went for lunch. ALL of us.

Thursday evening

I still miss my grandma.

The Tide's Gone

I couldn't believe myself when I stood there beside the hospital bed, looking down at the tiny lady sleeping on the bed, tucked in warmly by the blankets we bought her.
I felt so guilty leaving her alone at night, especially when she would wake up anytime and start playing with her blankets like a little child.

Yes, my grandma spirits had been reduced back to that of a little child, no more than 6 years old. Her memories faded, her sense of recognizing gone, and all that was left of her was her charming wrinkled face and beautiful, beautiful greyish-blue eyes.
I couldn't have asked for a better grandmother.

She was 97 and she looked frail and small, but she still had the strength of a normal person like you and me. She had a very, very happy life, and I knew that she enjoyed every ounce of it.
She was very protective of her children and her grandchildren, and definitely of her great-grandchildren.
I used to be stubborn, spoiled and rude towards her when I was a little girl, but as I grew up the protective sense that was with her all along began to pass down to me. I wouldn't let anyone, anyone hurt her in whatever way possible.

I expected her to live up to a century old, but she failed me in this category. She was good-spirited and delightful up to the very end of her time, and I thank God for not letting her suffer.
She was a wonderful woman, and she had a wonderful life that she deserved. Plus she died a very natural death.

And I won't stay sad and gloomy for who-knows-how-long, because I don't think my grandma would've wanted me to be upset. Sure I'm upset that she couldn't stay just a little bit longer on Earth, but I'm really happy for her to be resting in peace.
I love you, granny.

What's With Your Attitude?

Gosh. I'm bored out of studying.
I would love reading through the pages of my History reference book if only it were in English. And if only we were learning about World History. I mean, yeah, we sort of are, for the first few chapters only. And it's all about civilization.
Do you what would be civilized?
Yeah, allowing the students to study World History, and not the detailed happenings of our country. We know our country well enough (ohhhh, trust me on this), what we want to know is the world.

Ah well, at least I get to watch nigahiga. They upload the best, and the funniest videos of ALL time. They're like, THE Youtube Uploaders.
Right, and now back to studying. Nigahiga has just made my day. :)

A Smile, A Big Hug, and THUMBS UP.

In order not to drive everyone who comes into my blog into clicking the little X red button when they see my originally-super-long-post, I have decided to separate my blogging into two posts today.

And this post is a shout-out to my dear sister, who just turned thirteen yesterday:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHEL. :) ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

She had a pretty normal birthday celebration, but I bet you she had an awesome time in school. I mean, more than half her class signed Happy Birthday on this piece of paper and gave it to her after school! That's like, so sweet! :)

I spent like, the whole afternoon running around performing errands with my mom. I had a haircut, bought my pen and file, fixed my mom's shoes, bought a patchwork-cake for my sister, fixed my spectacles, fixed my mom's spectacles, bought a packet of chewing gum, bought my sister a heart-shaped box filled with Ferrero Roche's and wrapped my sister's birthday present.

Oh yes I got her this book called False Impression by Jeffrey Archer and you really have to check it out. Just by reading the back of the book will drive you insane to rip the plastic-wrapping off and read it immediately!
Oh yes and we stayed at home and watched The Kite Runner, very very nice movie. I want to read the book so badly now (in fact I want to read a lot of books so badly) but my mom lost the book I think.

Oops gotta study now.
I will stop checking my email, it's not going to happen.

We Just Can't Keep Ourselves Out Of Trouble

A LOT of people didn't come to school today. I bet they're all staying at home studying for next week's exams like the nerds that school has forced us to become.

So yeah, had a really fun time in school today (as stated in PeiShe's blog) arguing about the photo shoot arrangements. And the surprising thing was, Pn Chan actually gave in to us. And she was surprisingly calm and amused (she looked amused) because I think Aaron kept apologizing to her.
So yeah, we've got the photo shoot arrangements settled and all. Oh and Michelle wasn't there because apparently, she FORGOT about the photo shoot meeting. Riiight.

And ohgosh!, time really IS the enemy I tell you, I barely have time to do my own stuff. And this is before the exam. I think the real busy part comes after the exam, plus I shan't have time to fool people on the 1st of April (because of the photo shoot) and I so want to prank people.

Ah yes, remember the disgusting thing that PeiShe drank? The one that I mentioned a few posts ago? Yep, I finally got the pictures from Aaron, and take a look at these:

CAN YOU BELIEVE SHE ACTUALLY LIKED IT?

It's Like, So Darn Pretty

Haha haha!
My dad won this silver Sony Cybershot camera that he originally wanted to sell/trade away (for a better camera) but in the end he decided to keep it.

But apparently the battery's dead and you need to charge it to get it to work, so I'll play with the camera once it's fully charged.
Hmph, my parents get this cool Cybershot DSC-T77 and all I got is my old Canon camera (which takes pretty clear photos but is still old and outdated).

Oh and I probably won't be online to update my blog until the exams are over.
So, good luck to everyone and erm, happy studying?
:)
