Gee, Officer Krupke

This is going to be a short post since exam period restricts me from spending my time on long posts.

Yesterday I went to watch West Side Story musical with PeiShe, Aaron and Nic.
It was awesome.
It was enjoyable.
It was funny (MALE STRIPPER LOOKALIKE!)
and it was...sweet. :)

Man you guys are good companions to watch musicals. :)
Cheers.

Drinking Honey

Okay so Chelsea didn't freak as I thought she would. But she sounded excited all the same. :)
Went to the concert after my guitar lesson at about 9. Met Carmen, Rachel and JesCee there, together with some of JesCee's church friends. Stood there waiting for Boys Like Girls to come on stage; Carmen and JesCee told me that the local artists performing earlier were very boring, and that I didn't miss much.
Well, that's good. Haha. :)

The Boys Like Girls concert was fun. I actually forgot to bring my camera so no pictures from the concert. :(
There were very little people at the concert, like, very very little. If you compare it to the All American Rejects concert- there would be no comparison at all. The good part about it is that everyone can stand very near to the stage, and at the same time standing with a bit of space around you. It's not at all packed and squishy, and the crowd wasn't violent like the one during AAR; I didn't even sweat at all.
However, the small number didn't bring the atmosphere down. The crowd was still very lively and noisy, just like how a crowd should be during a concert. :)

Boys Like Girls are AWESOME live. Even though I didn't know all the songs that they sang, but I still swayed and jumped along. Until I found out that I kept accidentally stepping the foot of the guy standing behind me, then I stopped dancing and just bounced up and down. Whoops. :/
I think the coolest part of the concert was when Martin Johnson (the lead singer) did a stage dive into the crowd and they crowd was carrying him around. The girl in front of me was screaming her head off when she saw him sitting on the crowd. Haha.

Well, I'm definitely downloading all of Boys Like Girls songs now. :)
And right, my voice sounds so hoarse from all the attempted cheering last night; The reason I say attempted cheering, was because actually couldn't really scream properly last night, because I had a sore throat. So I just clapped my hands and squealed a bit. And when I woke up this morning, I sounded like I ate a sandpaper the night before or something.
So yeah.
And now I'm drinking this honey drink to soothe my throat.

I wouldn't say it was the best concert ever, but it was still great. :)

My Eyeballs Are Spinning Round In Their Sockets

Hello!
I am officially back from my 12 day trip in China. :)
It was TOTALLY AWESOME. Going around Guangzhou, Xiamen, Quanzhou and Fuzhou in these short 12 days can really tire you out, let you learn new things (like calligraphy, wushu and China's national calligraphy drawings), make you see life in a different perspective and introduce you to a whole bunch of new people whom you may find is coincidentally related to you, though not by blood. ;)

Pictures are all here on Facebook (no one really posts picture bulks on their blogs now) so make sure you go and browse through the pictures and see how much fun it was there during that China Winter Camp. Whee! :D Honestly, I'm going to miss friends whom I've met during the trip, though not so much with closer friends because I'm very sure I'll be seeing them sometime soon next year!

Oh yes, there was this one incident witnessed in China that I really have to blog about.
See, we, these awesome bunch of people, were walking down the streets of Fuzhou in the evening, doing our last day shopping and bonding and stuff when we saw this motorcycle coming straight past us; the bloody cyclist was driving fast even though the street we were walking on was slippery with the after rain. And as the motorcycle went past us, the back wheel of the motorcycle hooked onto this lady's foot (the lady was standing/walking right NEXT to me; we were probably just a few centimetres apart) and knocked her down. The lady, quote "flew from point A to point B" and her umbrella accidentally caught the top of my hair. The lady, pained from being thrown off her feet and probably badly hurt from slipping right off her feet and landing with a big thump on her bum, just sat there frozen.
The cyclist, realizing what happened, got down on this motorcycle and went over the lady to see if he could be of any help. But he wasn't any help, because just a mere 1 minute later, he smiled, got on his bike and drove away. WTF? Also, the passer-bys and salemen who witnessed the whole accident as well didn't even bother to help. They just walked past like nothing happened and went on selling their stupid items. WTF?
So we, the awesome bunch of people, walked over the lady to see if she was badly hurt and if she could stand up and walk and stuff like that. She was crying, but fortunately there were no bruises or cuts. We gave her a whole packet of tissues and she went off, nodding appreciatively but still sobbing from the pain (in her bum, I think).

So there you go. It was we, the awesome bunch of Malaysians, who showed graceful Malaysian spirit while we were overseas. HIGHFIVE, my awesome bunch of friends! :)

When The World Comes Down

Okay, so as everyone knows, yesterday was the All-American Rejects concert.
It was SPECTACULAR (because 'awesome' is getting quite old on this blog of mine).
I arrived at the concert venue smelling of rose fragrance (thanks to mum's new body soap) and went home stinking of sweat. But I guess you could say it was all worth it.
I am waiting for Michelle to post the pictures taken at the concert on her blog. :)

The best part of the Digi concert was of course the All-American Rejects themselves and the crowd singing along to their songs, but the worst part of the concert was the stupid people who pushed and shoved everyone rudely and violently out of the way just to get to the front of the crowd to hear the concert. I almost fell down. See, I had a very nice spot at the beginning of the concert, along with JesCee, Michelle, Matthew, ShaLin they all. And as we moved forward to get a better view of the stage we found ourselves standing behind this gang who danced like nobody's business and were practically hitting everyone who was standing around them, namely- us. It got even worse when they started pulling other gang members in front to join them.
Hello? A nice "excuse me" would've done it. And yes, I get it, you dance at a concert, but I'm pretty sure you dance only when you have space around you; if not you just jump up and down and wave your hands like other people did.
SERIOUSLY.

So then we squeezed all the way to back of the crowd and watched the concert from far, far behind. But it was still really enjoyable: it was cooler there and there were no bloody people pushing us around. SERIOUSLY. what is wrong with those people?
SLAP THEM I TELL YOU.

But other than that, the concert was fun, and I regret dropping my balloon clasher thingees accidentally-on-purpose. So I was clapping with my hands instead and they got all red and painful after some time. Went home by LRT after that, and I felt all sticky and sweaty and smelly. But like, in a good way. Haha.
So there you go, yesterday's event. :)

Sparky Sparky Boom Man!

Hello, I am back from my temporarily absence of blogging.
But see, I have a very good reason for my leave because I would rather delete my blog than neglect it and that's saying something!
Well, I haven't been online and blogging because I have been watching Avatar: The Legend Of Aang everyday after school for the past week. :D
It took hours to finish watching all 61 episodes of the animation series that Nick burned for me (which bytheway is now in the hands of PeiShe) and it was SO GOOD. Oh and I have also been busy cleaning my room of ALL things to ready my room for the painters to come and re-paint it. All my clothes and accessories and bags are piled up messily together with boxes of documents and such in the upstairs living room. There is pretty much no space at all to walk and you have to trod carefully once you reach the top landing of the staircase.
I will be so glad once this whole renovation re-painting thing is over. I cannot, cannot cannot stand the dust. My nose is super sensitive to dust or any sort of ticklish microorganism.

So there you go. A perfectly good reason why I haven't had the time to blog and why my Facebook wall is being spammed with posts and tags from the Love Gang.
Who came up with that name anyway?
And now that I have blogged about why I couldn't blog and have forgotten what I originally wanted to blog about, I think I will re-install my chatbox and go watch some time-wasting videos on Youtube. :)
Oh yes, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO CHOONG QIAN XI, who I doubt knows this blog even exists. =.=

Do or Do Not

Hello.
So the plans about the Star Wars Marathon that was discussed briefly on Facebook was finally put to action, haha! :)

Went over to Nick's house on Sunday and Monday to watch the Star Wars movies- our plan was to finish watching all 6 movies of Star Wars but unfortunately we only made 4.
And I will tell you now (and Nick if you're reading) that Nick is probably one of the best hosts I know. He didn't really seemed to mind that we talked a lot and loudly during the movie, trashed his living room, played with his XBox and bounced all over his couch.
I am really sorry for all the inconveniences caused Nick. :S

Well for the past 2 days I learned/re-learned/found out that:-
1. Zac Efron looks like Luke Skywalker,
2. Pink lemonade tastes nice,
3. Luke Skywalker actually had feelings for Princess Leia,
4. I kept giggling about how Darth Vader's breathing sounded like he had asthma,
5. I suck at Guitar Heroes,
6. Nick's condo is very very nice,
and
7. If you watch a movie with Carmen, Pei, Nick, Matthew and Aaron, they can turn supposedly devastating death and romantic scenes into scenes that you laugh out loud at.
I think if that happened in a cinema we would have people shooting daggers at us and requesting that we be kicked out of the movie but under certain circumstances I call this good, fun and noisy companionship. :)

Pineapple Juice

I have no idea which one was the worst.
Midterm Chem paper, or today's Chem paper. :S
I shall not blog about it.
I have a choice of either crossing my fingers or studying HARD for the next 2 Chem papers

I obviously need to devote time to study Chem on a daily basis, but as I said, no self-promises. By the end of the day/month/year I'll be labelled a self-promise breaker.
So much for blogging about studying my butt off today's Chem test.

I'm just thankful that the Malaysia announced a last-minute-holiday, giving me
  • one extra day to study
  • the time to go buy pants before I set off for Pahang
  • at least one good night of sleep before I wake up to a full late-night study mode again

And now I am off to relax, read a book, watch some TV before going to tuition and coming back to -
OMGITSRAININGMYRABBIT!

*Okay I'm back and I just saved my rabbit from being drenched in acid rain (you're probably thinking: whatintheworld-?)
But anyway, I shall end this post with a BIG BIRTHDAY SHOUTOUT to CARMEN CHUA, who just turned sixteen today, :)
HAPPY SIXTEEN, CARMEN.

Correct Me If I'm Wrong.

Hello!
Boy have I got a lot to update!
Well, actually, maybe I don't have that much to update but a lot has certainly happened for the past few days! :D

On Sunday night there was Shu's Party, which was held in Souled Out and was totally awesome!
Party details shall be refrained from being exposed in this blog for a reason.

Oh and the very next day after the party, I had to wake up much earlier than usual to prepare myself for the Patriotic Month celebration. Brought my camera there too but didn't take any pictures at all.
My feet hurt so badly after the afternoon procession that I could barely walk! This is all the result of having to stand immovably straight wearing 2 inch plus heels for about an hour.

Okay fine I have pretty much nothing to update on this blog.
I think those people from the University of Sheffield are right. If I want to become what I hope to become in the future, I must be highly opinionated and I must have a higher self-esteem.
And so from now on I vow to change for the better! :)

Duhh.

Hello!
Report Card Day was fun. I went class-hopping, had a bearded picture of me drawn onto the back of my hand by Pei, and ran up and down the school.
I had a feeling I was talking and laughing very loudly in class, but my form teacher told my mom that I was very quiet in class.
I mean, I guess I'm quiet during her class, but I think I'm usually pretty noisy in class loh. Not that anyone gives a damn about it. Why should they anyway?

Moving on, I just read JingHui's blog, and there's this picture where she took during Bio that has my big fat leg innit. I think that my arms and legs don't go together, because I have like these skinny sticks for arms, and big clumps of meat for legs. :/

OH and as for today: HAPPY SWEET SIXTEEN MICHELLE ANNE LEONG, who's like the prettiest european+asian girl I've seen, ever. She has these really big pretty eyes that I envy so much loh. :)
And, and she got this guinea pig for her birthday present, which we named Kimora (you know, after Kimora Lee Simmons), but then after that ChenLynn wanted Gracie, so now it's erm, Gracemora. X)
Oh yes so we were playing with Gracemora in the EdBoardRoom, and she pooped quite a lot. And I had to clean up all the poop you know. Yes, that's right; I'm Rachel, the Poop Cleaner. =.=

OMG. My pendrive isn't working! IT WON'T BLOODY OPEN.
AAAAAH!

Sugar, Spice and Everything Nice

I just realized that I haven't done a birthday shoutout post for about a gazillion years. =.=

So here's one to ShuLin, the darling who sits beside me in class and which I think we'll probably sit next to each other for the next year as well! :) :
HAPPY SWEET SIXTEEN! :D

I really do hope you like/love your present, and use it well (I know you will one lah).
I forgot to take a picture of the purse to blog it, so mind that you do and post it on Facebook to let the whole world see!
Because the purse is just so...YOU. So SHULIN.

So yes, enjoy your birthday!
XOXO.

Random-ia

Went to Mich's Sweet 16th Birthday Lunch at Italiannies today at The Gardens. :)
The food there was so delicious, and I felt so full.
There were like, pastas and pizzas and this chicken parmagiana, and iced water and this huge white chocolate macadamia nuts birthday cake. :)
In fact, I still feel kind of full, so full that I even skipped tea. :)
So Michelle, thank you for the awesome awesome lunch, and await your awesome awesome birthday present. :D

I actually forgot to bring my camera there, so all camwhore pictures belong in Pei's camera, Shu's camera and Chong Sheng's DSLR. Oh and Carmen's camera too I think. :)
They'll all post it on Facebook one la. I'll post the Facebook link once they post it. :)
I feel so happy! Which I guess will explain the so many smileys on this blog post.
And and, I also feel very random. :P
I wonder if Chong Sheng posted the pictures on his blog already?
OMG I just remembered this very stupid shot of me that Carmen took, and OMG she didn't delete from her camera, and OMG she had better not post that picture on her blog.
You hear me, Carmen Chua?

I feel kind of dizzy. I think it's the stuffy air in Mid Valley. I didn't feel like this while I was in The Gardens loh. The Gardens' air very clean and fresh and chilly and cooling one.
Oh yes btw, after The Gardens we went to Mid Valley ma right? So then we went to TopShop, and we went to try on these really fabulous outfits. The outcome was really funny for Shu, Pei and me (HAHA. Don't even bother asking why, because I'll never tell, because if I do I'll be slaughtered). Anyway, I looked really nice in these 2 dresses, but they cost about 200 bucks each, so yeah. :(
I think Shu took a picture of me and her in this Greek Goddess-like outfit. So nice you know?
Oh, I finished all my Sour + sweets already. :(

I Guess Second Best, Is All I Will Know

B'gah!
For once I have no idea what to blog about. :S
My original idea was to blog about yesterday (you know, Pn LYK's retirement) and to rant about it (because of you-know-why) but then I gave up. I mean, seriously, whatever lah.

You know, I feel like I haven't been connecting much with my friends. I get all these swelled up feelings in my chest that I just have to blow it up in someone's face (which I usually do), but then, nowadays I just...don't anymore.
I don't know why.
I guess it's just because I have this fear that people might judge me, or think the worse/worst about certain situations, or raise their eyebrows or laugh at me.
And the thing is, all these things have happened, all the time, last time, when I blurted whatever I felt like blurting.
But, I guess it's just not the same anymore. I prefer to tell it/something to someone when I feel like it's the right time for them to digest the information that I am going to tell them, and I do it with a lot of hesitation and awkwardness.

They say a lot about teenagers' hormones changing, and they are so right.

'Cause You're Hungover, And I'm Broke

I love Ouran High School Host Club.
I love Ouran High School Host Club.
I LOVE OURAN HIGH SCHOOL HOST CLUB.

In fact, I'm totally addicted to reading the Ouran manga. The story plot just gets better and better!
Oh and I'm also addicted to Facebook. Restaurant City and Geo Challenge has totally hit me in the brain, and so if I'm not blogging or reading manga I'll be playing Restaurant City in the background and playing Geo Challenge at the same time.

OH! Upcoming Birthdays: Agnes and Aaron's.
I have their birthday presents all planned out, but I won't be so stupid as to blog about it (like, duh) because what if the two of them happen to be reading my blog and found out about their presents?
Though I seriously doubt they read my blog anyway.

Oh and I'm not exactly broke anymore!
I won 25bucks from my sister from playing Hangman. :D
It took me A LOT to Hang her.
:)

I Slept At 8 And Woke Up At 8

Went to Sunway with Sean and PeiShe. Aaron and Mich were supposed to come to but they didn't. :(
Watched The Brothers' Bloom and it was a very nice movie. So go watch it.
Oh yes, and I brought my camera there and managed to take some pictures. :D

Camwhoring in the Ladies.

And this was written on the wall, in the Ladies!

Sean who likes to insert the picture of the Uranian President everywhere I point my camera.

And I just realised yesterday that they charge Entertainment Tax. For the movies!

Uhh, yeahh.

And THIS was taken at A&W's.

Oh yes, I am totally into the Ouran craze now, because it's SO FRIGGIN' EXCITING!
I beh tahan already, and I can't tell Pei, because she has yet to read it; I can't tell my sister either, because she has yet to read it too!
OH! I shall tell Melody, my darling anime/manga-affectionate-lover friend. :)

P/S: Rachel has mastered the skills of resisting the temptation to buy everything she likes/loves that she sees during shopping. Rachel feels so proud. If you don't believe Rachel, ask PeiShe. :D

Rachel Grinned

I so so so regret for not bringing my camera to the Taylor's Mass Colympics event yesterday at the Paintball Park in Bukit Jalil.
Oh, why? Because Allan Wu was there. And and, he looked so....muscular. Haha.
Sean, Pei and I went there at early morning and we got to interview him and took pictures with him and got his autograph. He's such a really really nice guy. :D
1. He went to Berkeley! In California!!!
2. He loves eliminating contestants of the Amazing Race Asia!
Sean, why aren't you blogging about the interview? Like you said you would?
Anyway, here's PROOF:

Aha, see? :)

We seemed like the only secondary school who was there for the event (even though lots signed up, I saw the list), until we met a few members from the EdBoard of SMKDU. Nice people- Christina, ZhuShaun and JieRu. :)
We even cut the event short and took public transport (namely RT, LRT, Komuter) all the way from Bukit Jalil to MidValley. Thank god Sean has a good sense of direction.
Watched this movie called Paul Blart: Mall Cop, and it was very funny, truth to be told. But it was OK.
All the pictures are with Sean and Christina, so go view them if you want to.
Gosh I've got to finish my assignment, and I have a moutain full of homework waiting for me, so, ciao! ;)
P/S: I'm stuck with that super old Nokia phone of mine, for 6 months!

I've Always, Always, Always Wanted A Surprise Party

I have like the bestest bestest bunch of friends and family in the whole wide world I tell you. Like, the BEST. They (PeiShe Carmen YuLi ShuLin Agnes Melody JingHui Michelle Mom and Chel) threw me a surprise birthday party yesterday! At my house! All the pictures are with Shulin so I'll get it from her as soon as I can. Unless she posts them on Facebook.
And so yesterday was really really awesome, and you had no idea what my friends got me for my sixteenth birthday. It was so unexpected of them. And so cute also larrr, seriously. :)

Look what Mom gave me for an extra birthday present! So adorable right? :)

And Chel bought me this whole set of anime movies, which cost like, a lot! :D

So anyway, went shopping today with JingHui and Pei, watched Confessions Of A Shopaholic with ShuLin, Dylan, YaoTing and some guy named Jonathan- loved Confessions Of A Shopaholic, spent almost all of my money in OneU, and now I'm broke.

They labelled it 'raw sugar' in TheoBroma Chocolate Lounge.

We went there for tea!

Elegant, elegant tea. :)

And the cake was better than Secret Recipe's!

Bouncy marshmellows.

That came with a mini cup of latte called Little Jane.

And my Belgium Waffle. I Heart Strawberries.

Oooh and I bought this lovely lovely ring. :D

And and a pair of rainbow shades!!!

And LOOK WHAT MY DARLING FRIENDS GOT ME for my birthday. Omg thongs, and panties!!! XD

I love them to bits I tell you.
To bits.
:)

Dot Your Dottiness

Oh wow I'm like the latest member in my Amazing Race team to post this post.
Well I'm really sorry but I haven't had the time to come online.
Yeah anyway, the Race was really tiring but it was fun.

Our team was named Polka Dots :), courtesy of Michelle Anne Leong, who had no choice but had to pull out at the last minute and dragged Ee Jay to be her replacement.
So poor Ee Jay was stuck in a team full of girls named the Polka Dots :) (yes, there's a smiley at the back of the team name). Haha.

We did what I thought we'd never do.
We drank garlic juice (eurrrgh), washed 2 cars, counted hundreds of Sugus-es and seperated the different flavours, took a cab all the way to Tien Hou Temple by ac
cident (yeah the stupid misleading clue), cheated on cracking a coconut and went back as the overall second last team feeling high and happy.

I will never drink or eat anything garlic for a very, VERY long time.
I know how to crack a coconut now, watching someone else help us to it.
And I don't regret counting the Sugus-es because the other choice of the Detour was to fetch ping pong balls out of a container filled with curry and garlic with your mouth. And I'm saying no to anything that has garlic after the garlic juice.

So, at the last station, right before heading back to school and waiting for Jing Hui's dad to fetch us back to school, we stopped by Starbucks and spent our own sweet time buying drinks and food. And by that time, we were all very sticky and sweaty and looked like we ran a hundred miles.

But as everyone said, it was worth the experience. :)

Polyjuice Potion

I know I said that I would get aluminium tin cans from my friend's house yesterday but I forgot. Yep, I shared 2 cans of Jolly Shandy and I FORGOT to bring the tin cans home. But never mind, I can always finish the two cans of Soya Bean in my kitchen (yucks).

Oh and as for my friend's house, she has the most awesome garden ever! I mean, her garden got like, Best Garden Awards and stuff like that, and she has fishes, 2 dogs, a rabbit, 5 roosters and 2 hens. Or was it 4 roosters?

Oh oh yes, and I actually gambled last night. Yep, real gambling, with real money. The first ever time I gambled in the History Of Rachel. Oh and I lost 14bucks altogether, and my sister was the ONLY one who didn't lose any money but in fact gained 40 bucks. 40!!!!!!

Oh oh and I finally took some pictures, with my phone, not my camera, because I forgot to bring my camera, AGAIN.

No it's not wine. It's just juice. Peach juice. Really.
:)

Oh and the colour is like, so pretty!

Ah yeah we were playing BlackJack, and the four of us got 21, coincidentally. HOW COOL IS THAT?

Um yeah, they're playing some new game, called Something-Something. I have no idea how it goes.

And finally, Jolly Shandy with less than 1% of alcohol. The aluminium tin cans I forgot to bring home.

And there were fireworks last night, really loud, set off by the neighbour two houses behind. So we all got to see really pretty (and really LOUD) fireworks. And my throat is so very dry from drinking all that juice and shandy yesterday. In fact, that was all I drank last night, except for the 3 glasses of water at dinner.

The Tale Of The Three Brothers

I AM JOINING THE CHS AMAZING RACE! WHOOHOO!

It's about time they organised a race as good as the one in 2007 (or so I heard), rather than the really boring "race" organised by the Science and Math Club. No offence, really, but its just true!

Well anyway, the good news is, Michelle and Pei are willing to join the AR with me, and we're looking for one last member.
Oh and the good news is that I asked my mom and she said she will allow me to go running around PJ (or wherever the race will take place) in public transport as long as I am extra careful and bring an umbrella so that I can whack any baddies. Just in case. :)

But on the other hand, the bad news is that I am going to miss one tuition class for Add Math. But never mind about that.

Oh yes, today I spent RM15 on charity buying a box of chocolate chip cookies from Michelle. And they were GOOD. Not bloody good but crunchy and crispy good. I finished the whole box in school today. Whoops.
Haha.

Aw Look How Funny She Is!

Ooh I love checklists. Okay, let's see. What to bring to PortDickson?

1. Clothes
2. Shorts
3. Rubber bands (I can finally tie my hair! A very very short ponytail)
4. The leftover water balloons.
5. My Narnia book (I haven't finished it yet. And it's not like I even have time to read it. Right? Right??)
6. Titbits (no journey can be perfect without them)
7. Sandals!
8. Sport shoes
9. Trackpants
10. Socks?
11. My phone
12. My cap!
13. A torchlight (really, really important)
14. My camera
15. Extra batteries?
16. Bottle
17. Towel!
18. Shampoo
19. Money
20. A magazine (but I probably don't need that if I'm bringing Narnia)
21. Oh the Puzzle Book! (so that I can play with in on the way)
22. The Form Pn Chee sent us by post (=.=)

And lastly, look how scared my dog is of the rain, that she ran into the house and hid in the weirdest places ever.

First she came into the computer room and hid in between my legs.

Then she went to my room and stared at herself in the mirror.

And now she's ignoring Chel and I by hiding under the bed!

And now I must start the actual packing!
